Illinois Deer Hunting Rates

 First firearm hunts are $1200 for 3 days Nov  16,17,18
 
 Second firearm/first muzzleloader hunts are $1200 for 4 days Nov 29 thru Dec 2

 Late Muzzleloader hunts are $1000 for 3 days Dec 7,8,9

 Bow/Gun combo special!!! Nov 10-18
 $2200 for 6 days bowhunting followed by 3 day shotgun hunt. This requires two licenses, archery and shotgun but a buck and a doe can be harvested in each season. Very limited availabilty!!!

 Accomodations are available nearby on a for $25-$35 per night per hunter when sharing rooms. (minimum stay equal to your hunting days)  Accommodations are in local Bed and Breakfasts and motels.  Campgrounds with full hookups are also very close by. Most all of our hunters stay at Dryfork Creek Lodge.  Payment plan: $100 immediately due upon booking to hold your reservation, half the hunt is to be paid by the April 1 of the year of your hunt and the balance of your hunt to be paid in full by That September 1.  No cancellation refunds issued for cancellations after May 1 of the hunt year except in the case of failure to draw the proper license. If the appropriate license has been applied for properly and on time and the hunter fails to draw, Tall Tine Outfitters agrees to either carry the reservation and monies paid toward a future hunt with a price guaranteed against future increases or will issue a full refund less $ 100  Monies paid on behalf of a hunter are transferable provided the replacement hunter is agreed upon by the remaining members of your group and our staff.

2012 self guided hunt dates

• Early season opener bow hunt 6 days   $1000 per hunter
• Oct 1-6  2-3 hunters max
• after this very limited hunt we close the property down till the rut
• Archery pre rut hunts 6 days: $1000 per hunter
• Oct 20-25
• Archery Rut hunts 6 days  $1200 per hunter 
• Oct 27- Nov 1             
• Nov 2-8 and                             
• Nov 10-15*                                         
• Our bowhunts are 6 full days starting Saturday Morning and ending Thursday evening. *Friday is an arrival and scouting day.
• *Hunters choosing the Nov 12-17 hunt need to understand and agree that arriving firearms hunters may also be on the property for a few hours during the mid day of their last hunt day for orientation/ scouting only.
• First firearm hunt  $1200
•  3 days,  Nov 16,17,18 arrival and scouting day: Thursday 17th before  Shotguns and muzzleloaders are both legal weapons in this season with a firearms permit 
• Second firearm and first muzzleloader hunt $1200  (combined seasons)
• 4 days, Nov 29,30 and  DEC 1,2 arrival and scouting day is Nov 30 Shotguns and muzzleloaders are legal weapons for this season. A firearm permit or a muzzleloader permit is valid during this season with the appropriate weapon
• Second Muzzleloader Season $1000               
•  3 days Dec 7,8,9  This is a muzzleloader only season and a muzzleloader permit is required

 $100/ hunter holds your reservation. 1/2 of the hunt fee due April 1 with balance of hunt fee due by September 1

Accomodations at Dryfork Creek Lodge are due upon arrival

Illinois Deer Licenses and Tags

• Non Resident Archery tags are by lottery in June and run about $400. Availability has been 100% IF APPLIED FOR CORRECTLY AND ON TIME in recent years
  
• Illinois Non Resident Shotgun tags are approximately $300 and  muzzleloader tags are around $275. Applications are by mail or online  and are available in July for a draw in August. Tag availability has been 100% for on time applicants in recent years.
